For Technical help, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions page.The Senior Business Intelligence Financial Analyst is responsible for analysis, solution design, and architecture to deliver financial performance analytics in support of Strategy, Business Planning, Operational Performance and other decision-making opportunities. The position will create business intelligence solutions/reports and provide information and analytical consulting in support of financial, strategic and quality initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using the defined strategy and end user requirements work with the Business Intelligence tools, architecture, and data to deliver evidence based financial decision-making deliverables
- Participate and lead aspects of data integration, retrieval, processing, and validation.
- Design and perform data validation/verification processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely system balancing between source and destination data
- Translate business and financial needs into long-term architecture ensuring data quality and reusability.
- Participate in the development of actionable plans to prepare and develop achievable/sustainable information deliverables.
- Lead and participate in project teams that implement and configure financial performance analytic solutions.
- Develop and implement financial performance analytics to include creation of innovative ideas that enable profitable growth potential at a strategic and tactical level.
- Provide training and function as a knowledge resource to end users of the Business Intelligence tools and Performance Analytic deliverables.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting or related field (with 5 years related experience required.)
- Minimum 4 years related business intelligence experience including data design, data quality, reporting/visualization creation, translating business and financial needs into long-term architecture solutions and implementing self-service business intelligence strategies.
- Strong financial data analysis and data architecture skills
- Strong in data modeling (normalization, star schema)
- Experience in a reporting/presentation tool (Reporting Service (SSRS), Crystal Reports, Qlikview, ProClarity)
- Experience defining, configuring, accessing, querying, and validating data using database systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
- A history of increasing responsibilities, including project team leads and/or project management roles.
- Must be team-oriented and able to provide leadership while coordinating and managing projects to completion.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple business lines and managerial levels within an organization.
- Experience in a large, multi-specialty physician group, hospital and/or managed care organization preferred.
