Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Engineering Co-op, Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement opening to join our Engineering organization.
Day to Day:
The Engineering Co-op, Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement role has primary responsibility for: Responsible for continuous improvement (Lean & OPEX), new dryer mega launches, factory master plan, Division capital, new model planning and metrology organization. The Marion Division engineering function is the primary function that deals with new product launch pipeline. This group works closely with manufacturing operations, product engineering and other corporate support functions to develop a plan for integration to production. Responsible in assisting with project tool/die implementation & mega project launches. Will work collaboratively with tooling engineers & operations to ensure successful launch. Support day-to-day operations by resolving any problems with processes and coordinate corrective actions. This role will work very closely with manufacturing, new model planning, procurement, product engineering and corporate support functions.
What you will do:
- Deep analysis of Marion Operations tooling specification & implementation requirements
- Develop implementation plans, manage C2C 2.0 project requirements
- Drive continuous improvement activities
What you Need to Succeed:
- Mechanical or tool engineering background
- Knowledge of manufacturing
- Technical orientation
- Project management skills
- Effective communication
- AutoCAD experience
