Acxiom has written the book on marketing data. Our ability to deliver vast quantities of data faster and more securely separates us from our competitors. As a security architect, you are responsible for designing and implementing the security solutions to ensure the integrity of Acxiom systems and data. Security solutions will span the entire security portfolio including next generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, threat mitigation, and threat correlation. The Security Engineer may also be called upon to provide domain expertise, performance analysis, and remediation recommendations, in order to ensure clients and projects are properly serviced.
What you will do:
- Design, implement and maintain security solutions standards/policies/procedures to protect Acxiom systems and data worldwide
- Stay abreast of industry best practices in systems security and adapt Acxiom polices/practices as needed
- Review infrastructure and security designs and provide recommendations on viability and improvements
- Provide support and coverage over several architectural domains (Security and Infrastructure)
- Understand Acxiom development methodologies as well as other processes across the company (i.e. procurement, data center, etc.) in order to provide consultation and to accomplish tasks
- Provide security consultation as needed for product development and industry marketing solutions
- Audit the standards created by various internal review boards related to architecture, delivery and solutions
- Responsible for lab and technology testing of security solutions
- Account for multi-national deployment requirements as applicable
- Provide escalation support and troubleshooting of security issues
What you will need:
- Experienced IT professional with 7+ years overall experience and minimum of 3 years as a Senior Security Engineer
- Deep engineering level experience in 2 of the following: Access control (FWs), Security Forensics, NAC, IDS/IPS, Routing and Switching
- Experience in the design and delivery of customer-facing presentations (2 years minimum)
- Knowledge of IP, TCP/UDP, and upper layer protocols including but not limited to ICMP, DNS, HTTP, NTP, SMTP, SNMP
- Network security experience with IPSEC, VPN, SSL VPN, Data Encryption
- Experience configuring and/or administering firewalls (Cisco PIX/ASA, Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto) (5 year minimum)
- Proficiency in multi-layer security design (2 years minimum)
- Experience analyzing and interpreting packet captures
- Experience with large scale security systems such as Crossbeam X-80s or Juniper SRX-5800
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills
