Position Title: Finance Manager
Position Location: Irvine, CA (Division Office)
Position Summary:
Strategic thought-partner for VP Sales and RMs (market-level); oversees distributor spend vs. budgets; manages relationship with distributor finance counterparts (where available) and collects inputs from distributor resources to support planning, budgeting, and month-end activities (e.g. R&O); provides inputs for markets where no distributor coverage (less rigorous)
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Key thought-partner and advisor to RMs, VP Sales

Manage the "market-level" checkbook – maintain accountability for market-level spend accuracy within budget (LMF, EG, SPD)

Develop AOP from guidance pushed down from DFD

Complete regional forecasting and reporting: accrual estimates, YTD variance, outlook, and customer / brand profitability analysis; develop and compile market-level R&O inputs

Assist CS&A group with distributor management, including resolving distributor / broker issues and providing systems training

Ensure distributor resources provide state month/year-end analysis, commentary for footprint states, and monthly R&O insights; review and challenge distributor inputs

Monthly depletion reporting / building depletion forecast / GP forecasting

Quarterly BPP and commentary

Ensure accuracy and compliance of inputs from distributor counterparts in markets

Divisional spend monitoring (LMF, SPD, EG); LMF rebalancing; invoice coding

Depletion seasonality

Provide state month/year-end reporting & commentary for states with no distributor resources (exception-based commentary only)

Collaborate on planning for LEs and AOP (Region team)

Track and reconcile A&P spend and support DBM with ROI analyses (DBM)

Identify competitive and market opportunities (Div. Sales, Nat. Spirits Fin. HQ)

Provide risk and opportunity insights for market (RM, DBM, VP Sales)

Support in building trade spend plan (National Spirits Finance HQ)

Challenge LE / Flash forecast (distributor, DFD)

Tracking of local market incentives (value-portion only) (Nat. Spirits Fin. HQ)

Explain variance to budget (Nat. Spirits Fin. HQ, DFDs)

Track and influence pricing compliance in assigned markets (DPM)

Deliver region ad hoc requests, including presentation / meeting prep (leverage Business Analyst and/or distributor resources as relevant)
Key requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (or accounting); MBA preferred
Experience / Background: Minimum 5-7 years in financial analysis /planning with heavy experience in planning and profitability tracking. Excellent understanding of database management and the ability to manipulate financial and statistical data in order to identify risks and opportunities to PRUSA value driven philosophy. Good working knowledge of accounting principles and P&L preparation.
Working Conditions:
General Office: Work is performed in a typical office environment. Limited demands for movement and lifting. Normal visual, hearing and language acuity required for correspondence and computer usage.
Travel: Minimal
Estimate: 10% of time
