Job Description

The Associate Manager, Actuarial position is in the Actuarial Financial Reporting group within Retirement, and will play a key role in supporting the rapidly growing Pension Risk Transfer business.

Financial Reporting
• Primarily responsible for Statutory, GAAP, and Tax financial reporting for the Pension Risk Transfer business
• Review and analyze monthly reserve traces and other reporting requirements
• Perform research and analysis to explain sources of earnings
• Collaborate with Valuation, Pricing and Operations to support new business implementation
• Implement efficient and robust processes and ensure compliance with Model Risk Policies and End User Controls
• Perform ad hoc regression testing of the financial reporting system
• Be an active participant in Prudential’s actuarial community 

 

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 – 3 years of experience in Actuarial or Finance
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Highly motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with high quality standards
• Ability to manage multiple key priorities effectively
• Collaborative and team-oriented
