Job Summary:
We are seeking local GA or CA candidate only. No relocation assistance is available for this opportunity, travel including international approximately 10-20%. Demonstrate accuracy attention to detail and thoroughness. Familiarity with antitrust and construction law issues, Ability to advise on issues relating to IP protection and licensing. Ability to work directly with client to ensure policy compliance.
Job Responsibilities:

Implement, review and maintain standard contract templates.

Ensure compliance with standard terms and conditions.
-
Review, negotiate, extend, terminate, and renegotiate contracts.

Draft deal specific letters of intent and other contract vehicles.

Advise management on contractual risk and work to mitigate contractual risk.

Advise Latin American affiliates on contract matters, including drafting and reviewing. documents in Spanish/Portuguese

Assist in the management of the corporate insurance program.

Review non-disclosure agreements for compliance to standard terms.

Advise on intellectual property matters, including patent claims and enforcement.

Issue standard non-disclosure agreements.

Audit locations for corporate compliance.
Education:
-
JD Degree from an accredited law school, Certified Paralegals with significant experience in a corporate legal environment may also be considered
Job Requirements:
-
3-6 years international corporate legal experience, strong preference for in-house international experience

Experience with international issues and working with an international team

Strong contract management skills
-
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Ability to handle responsibilities with little to no administrative support

Identify and resolve complex problems in a timely, decisive manner, uses intuition and experience to make decisions

Synthesize complex or diverse information
Foreign language skills, including Spanish/Portuguese legal reading and writing skills
