Job Title: Group Finance Analyst

 

Location: London

 

Role overview:

Support group FP&A in delivering top class analytics and financial information

 

Key Tasks:

• Daily / Weekly KPI reporting; deliverable is daily / weekly KPI report to senior management

• Monthly reporting – full spectrum of  MI / financial reporting; deliverable Group Finance Report

• External (quarterly) reporting; supporting quarterly results announcements

• Ad hoc exco reporting; PowerPoint presentations produced for internal committees such as FTTF, Tour Ops COOM, Cost Out Steer Co

• Supporting decision making by developing analysis of key business drivers  - new analysis/ new process of collation or evaluation

• Close working with segment teams and group functions to develop analysis and promote effective practices

• Ad hoc project work, including deep dives on specific areas of focus e.g new products, web penetration

• Support on forecast and budget process  - challenge and analysis of submissions

• Investment appraisal

Must have:
• Ability and desire to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience of managing multiple work-streams under time pressure
• Experience of corporate (board / exco level) reporting
• Demonstrate experience of working in a business (commercial /operational / strategic projects outside of pure accounting)
• Logical, analytical approach to working with ability to shape and change processes

 

Preferred:
• Large company experience
• Group / Corporate Finance experience
• Strong communication skills – written and oral

 

Technical / professional qualifications:
• ACA / CIMA
