Lead SAP Specialist- (PM) (PCW)

Assist with SAP FI/CO Application Support which includes Master Data setup, Work Flow analysis, LIV (logistics invoice verification) analysis, and general SAP FI/CO process monitoring. Develop process improvements and ensure the quality of the SAP FI/CO production system. Other responsibilities include:
Banking and EBS (electronic bank statement) configuration
F110 (SAP payment proposal) - Check, wire, EFT (Electronic funds transfer), ACH – understand the processing required for each payment type
External system Interfaces to SAP – experience troubleshooting, FTP, EDI
Security – investigate roles and authorizations
Workflow – general knowledge and troubleshooting
Purchasing – requisition to check, integration with FI/CO
GR/IR reconciliation – purpose, investigate issues
Sales/distribution – credit, order to pay, integration with FI/CO
External tax systems – understand how SAP interacts with the tax system to make tax decisions
ABAP – debugging skill, no need to program.
• Formulating mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
• Collaborating with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
• Collaborating with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions.
• Preparing management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions.
• Studying and analyzing information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes.
• Specify manipulative or computational methods to be applied to models.
• Performing validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary.
• Defining data requirements and gathering and validating information, applying judgment and statistical tests.
• Analyzing information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems.
• Observing the current system in operation and gathering and analyzing information about each of the parts of component problems, using a variety of sources.
The minimum requirements for the position of Lead SAP Specialist - FI/CO Application Support are a Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, and a minimum of eight (8) years of SAP FI/CO experience. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, and a minimum of six (6) years of SAP FI/CO experience. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must possess a high degree of initiative, creativity, and functional ability. Exceptional customer service, verbal and written communication skills and a strong desire to keep current with technology. Strong problem solving skills with high motivation and energy to provide solutions in a timely manner. Ability to thoroughly investigate existing business processes and associated technical solutions to design and recommend improved or new processes and solutions.
