We are currently hiring for a part-time Human Resources Assistant (29 hours per week) to join our Human Resources team.  This position will be located in Rancho Cordova area.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

·         Source, screen, schedule and recommend applicants for open positions using e-recruitment tool.

·         Prepare offer requests and offer letters and administer pre-employment process (background and reference checks, drug screens, etc.).

·         Assist in new employee orientation preparations to ensure a welcome assimilation to the company. 

·         Process new hire paperwork and new hire orientation training records.

·         Facilitate termination process including preparing termination paperwork and notifications of termination.

·         Administer NA News Center items and publish bi-weekly e-newsletter.

·         Assist with immigration process and administer travel visas.

·         Administer time and attendance system: report employee data changes, review/approve of time records in accordance with wage and hour laws and approve payroll for processing. 

·         Respond to requests for employment verifications and employee requests regarding the same.

·         Assist in the planning and coordination of employee events.

·         Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from database.

·         Administer unemployment claims, leaves of absences, and workers’ compensation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

·         Maintain personnel records.

·         Administer and track completion of required anti-harassment training.

·         Administer online training record system.

·         Coordinate benefit open enrollment, 401K meetings and onsite health fairs.

·         Administer tuition reimbursement program.

·         Other duties as assigned.
