Operating Room/Same Day Surgery!

  

 

A member of Ministry Health Care, Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center is sponsored by the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother. It is a primary care hospital providing inpatient care and surgery, outpatient surgery, oncology services, spiritual services, extended care, a full range of therapy, radiology and laboratory services as well as dialysis, emergency and walk-in clinic services. The mission of the organization is to further the healing ministry of Jesus by continually improving the health and well-being of all people, especially the poor.

 

As a Surgical Technologist for Good Samaritan, you would be able to be a part of Operating Room and Same Day Surgery procedures, covering both inpatient and outpatient.

 

In this role, you will working with a multitude of different healthcare professionals, so being able to work with mulitple different personalities is a must for this position.  We are also looking for an independent thinker who is confident in their abilities and skills and can work well in a fast-paced environment. 

 

This is a casual position, meaning there will be no set number of hours per week or benefits attached to this position. However, you will have the opportunity to pick up shifts and occasional on-call hours as well in this role to cover vacations, staffing shortages, busy weeks, etc.

• Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program from an accredited program/school
• Minimum of one year in mult-specialty OR strongly preferred
• Surgical Technologist certification preferred
• BLS certification required
