Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI currently has Registered Nurse opportunities available on our Med/Surg units within our facility. These positions could be casual, part-time or full-time, ranging from 0-40 hours per week including days, evenings and/or nights which also include a weekend and holiday rotation.

The Registered Nurse, working in collaboration with the primary physician, provides coordination of the patient plan of care and the patient care team. The Registered Nurse works with the patient/family/significant other(s) and interdisciplinary team members to develop an individualized plan of care to include educational and discharge planning interventions. Together with interdisciplinary team members, the Registered Nurse evaluates the plan of care and addresses unmet outcomes for further intervention or consultation. The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to deliver care for specified patients in accordance with Saint Joseph's Hospital Mission, standards of care, policies, and procedures.
Essential duties
- Conducts initial and ongoing assessments for assigned patients.
- Identifies and analyzes alterations in diagnostic findings with patient's clinical presentation.
- Assesses patient's status through interview, observation, and physical assessment.
- Consistently prioritizes a patient care assignment based on changes in patients/conditions and unanticipated interruptions while delegating care in order to achieve optimal and cost effective patient and organizational outcomes.

- Graduation from a National League for Nursing (NLN) approved school of nursing
- Associate Degree, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in nursing is required
- Work experience in an acute care setting is preferred
- Current license or eligibility to become licensed to practice as a RN in the State of Wisconsin is required
