Description:
The HR Payroll Advisor - Tax is responsible for assisting with all payroll functions as it relates to taxes, including quarterly and annual tax preparation and reconciliation, support of US and Expatriate tax processes, ensuring compliance with tax legislation and assisting with various audits and inquiries.
Responsibilities may include:
- Manage annual W2 processes; assist with quarterly federal and state tax processes as well as monthly payroll processes
- Providing guidance for US and Expatriate tax treatment
- Resolving executive payroll tax issues
- Provide tier 2 support for HR Connections on payroll tax issues
- Completed Legal requests for subpoenas for employee/former employee information
- Serve as a resource for stock and equity transaction processing
- Serve as the liaison between payroll, finance and tax groups
- Monitor and test changes in SAP
- Query payroll data
- Support SOX and assurance audits
Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 3+ years of experience with payroll taxes
- Proficient in the Microsoft Word and Excel
- 5+ years of experience in analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Payroll certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Access
- Expatriate tax experience
- SAP Payroll and/or SAP/HR experience
- Good technical skills with SAP and database query tools
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team
