We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for Clinical Liaisons to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients. 
 
Clinical Liaisons
The Regional Clinical Liaison functions as a field-based member. This regional position requires up to 3 days of field travel per week with 2 days spent in a home office.  The travel is within a defined geographic region, but occasionally additional travel may be necessary.
 
The Clinical Liaison will:
The primary responsibility of the Regional Clinical Liaison (RCL) is to provide education and support to the following Exact Sciences’ strategic initiatives:
  • Build relationships with KOL and thought leaders as well as key decision makers
  • Provide insight into market and competition
  • Support medical education initiatives
  • Provide ongoing education for health care providers and patients in order to increase knowledge and awareness of Exact Sciences products
  • Support internal customers (ie. marketing, sales, clinical lab/call center) as it relates to clinical expertise
·         Become proficient in and demonstrate ability to understand the major data sources (clinical trials, published reports, etc.) relative to the use of Exact Sciences’ products.
·         Support health care providers by offering clinical and scientific information that helps guide medical decisions.
·         Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to health care practitioners and community/advocacy groups.
·         Work collaboratively with sales and marketing department to create and implement educational strategies for key clients.
·         Assist in the development of key opinion leaders as potential speakers/collaborators for Exact Sciences.
·         Collaborate with clients and thought leaders on a national, regional and local level to develop clinical concepts that support medical research associated with new and existing products.
·         Collect and report market information within company guidelines.
·         Manage time and travel expense budget for clinical education activities within dedicated regions.
·         Provide Clinical Operations team with recommendations on investigator and site selection for future trials.
·         Interact cross-functionally within Exact Sciences (ie marketing) to supply clinical content and support for future growth.
·         Attend regional and national tradeshows and symposia.
·         Identify local/regional education events such as patient education events and CME events.
·         Collaborate with medical societies and specialty organizations as well as advocacy groups.
·         Support clinical laboratory/call center as needed.
·         Support implementation team as needed.
·         Demonstrate expert knowledge in related clinical and disease states, and the ability to serve as a technical and clinical resource to internal partners and external customers

Education and Experience
  • RN required.  Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical and/or industry experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well independently, and manage time effectively.
  • Willing to travel within a defined geographic region.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with colorectal screening and/or outpatient/ambulatory care is strongly desired.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the GI market as well as experience with clinical trials is a plus.
