Merck Information Technology provides technology leadership and innovation for business solutions that support Merck's divisions including Research and Development (R&D), Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, Consumer Care, Animal Health and Corporate functions such as Finance and Human Resources. Merck’s “Future Talent Program” features internships that last 9-12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These internships provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. We are looking for people passionate about technology and healthcare.

Potential Locations: Whitehouse Station, NJ; Rahway, NJ; Summit, NJ; Branchburg, NJ:, Lebanon, NJ; Kenilworth, NJ; West Point, PA; Upper Gwynedd, PA; Lansdale, PA; Charlotte, NC.

This is a 9-12 week internship, beginning in June 2015. Please note no housing assistance is available for these positions.

We are looking for students with outstanding academic records of achievement and demonstrated leadership abilities, candidates who are analytical and inquisitive about the interrelationships of various components, and perceptive, quick learners committed to helping to further Merck's vision and mission.

We are looking for someone who:

·Is currently enrolled in a minimum of a BS/BA program with an anticipated graduation date between December 2014 and August 2016.

·Currently enrolled in a degree program in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business/Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, Chemical Engineering, Informatics or a related discipline.

· Has superior communication and interpersonal skills

· Enjoys working with people as well as alone.

· Has an entrepreneurial spirit

· Has passion for technology/healthcare

· Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of U.S. or otherwise authorized to work in U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future Preferred:

· GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
