ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To operate (drive) Children's vehicles in a safe and customer service manner.
- Carry out the responsibilities of the position as outlined by the Security or Parking and Transportation Coordinators.
- Document activities for department records.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current policies, procedures and DOT regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Assist patients, visitors and staff with transportation needs.
- Reports any unusual events to Security Control Center or Security Supervisor.
- Remains up to date on current security, transportation and professional issues through readings and self-study.
- Ensures cleanliness, maintenance and organization of assigned vehicles.
- Ensures valet parking for Board members, VIPs, patients, etc as needed and directed.
- Provides directions and assistance to visitors.
- Assist motorist with vehicle trouble.
- Conducts schedule safety inspections.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Georgia driver's license, CDL required.
- Ability to speak, read, write and follow written and oral instructions.
- Two years experience in public relations or customer service.
- Ability to function independently of constant supervision.
- Ability to apply sound judgment and confidentiality in handling of sensitive information.
