Senior Product Marketing Manager

As a Sr. Product Marketing manager, you will lead the Product / Service / Solution / Portfolio marketing and shape the future of HP Networking. You will be an integral leader in product marketing as you lead marketing activities for HPs Software Defined Networking (SDN) products. From positioning, competitive analysis, launches, content and external communications, you will help shape the product and help redefine the networking industry. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with Product Management, R&D, CTO organization and the rest of HP’s Enterprise Group, including Server, Storage and Networking.
Software-defined Networking (SDN) is a pivotal piece to HP’s networking strategy and covers all aspects of the portfolio from Data Center to Campus and branch.
Responsibilities:
· Own the product / service / portfolio positioning and provide value propositions, including use cases. Drive product launches and establish market launch requirements.
· Develop content for specific product / service / solution / portfolio
· Participate in Executive briefing
· Work on competitive strategies
· Shape the voice of the product within the industry
Minimum qualifications:
· BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
· 10 years of experience in product marketing with a networking background
· Strong leadership capabilities
Preferred qualifications:
· Experience in product marketing, technical marketing and product management
· Experience with Software-defined Networking technologies, including OpenFlow, VXLAN, NVGRE and OVSDB
· Experience in presenting at conferences and C-level executives
