Description:
ConocoPhillips is seeking a strategic Supply Chain Advisor to lead the supply chain operations for our global contingent workforce program. The ConocoPhillips Contingent Workforce Program is a complex, high value and highly visible program designed to achieve business needs for a contingent workforce, focusing on talent quality, compliance and cost efficiency. The Supply Chain Advisor will report to the Contingent Workforce Program Director and provide supply chain functional expertise, support and consultation to global business partners and stakeholders.
The Supply Chain Advisor will be the senior supply chain professional within the Contingent Workforce program management office (PMO). The Contingent Workforce PMO has three primary functions: strategy and planning, operational management support, and compliance management. Global business units supported include: Alaska, Corporate, Lower 48, Australia, Norway/UK, Canada, and Indonesia. This opportunity offers the successful candidate further development in problem solving skills, analytics, project and vendor management, and collaboration with business partners across the globe.

Responsibilities may include:
- Developing contingent workforce contract strategies
- Ensuring ongoing contract management for all PMO based contracts including VMS and MSP contracts
- Providing strategic direction and coordination for domestic and global PSP programs
- Managing key internal stakeholder relationships on a global basis
- Developing quality assurance plan and leading quarterly business reviews
- Managing continuous improvement initiatives and projects
- Managing and influencing supplier performance (KPI’s)
- Ensuring adherence to corporate supply chain policies and procedures
- Performing project based contracting activities including:
bidder qualification and selection processes bid evaluations and awards
support for negotiation and finalization of agreements - Working effectively with functional corporate and business unit leaders for program based supply chain matters
Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or business related field
- 5+ years combined experience reviewing supplier performance or negotiating supply chain contracts
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience managing contracting relationships with 3rd party staffing agencies or RPO
- Previous experience with administering a global preferred supplier program
- Knowledge of contingent workforce programs including VMS software and MSP contractors
- Previous experience interacting and providing value to business units from a shared service / centers of excellence perspective
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively apply analytical tools, concepts and methods
- Current knowledge of applicable legislations related to procurement of contingent labor and services
- Previous experience working with legal, risk, intellectual property, tax and commercial contract elements and clear understanding of how they interact with one another in contract creation and negotiation
- Supply Chain experience within the oil and gas industry
- Effective communicator, good presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to influence and align major change efforts
- Constantly searches for and implements new ways of doing business better
- Actively seeks out diverse people and organizations to collectively achieve business goals
