Description:
ConocoPhillips is seeking a results-oriented Senior HR Advisor to lead the HR strategies for our new global contingent workforce program. The ConocoPhillips Contingent Workforce Program is a complex, high value and highly visible program designed to achieve business needs for a contingent workforce, focusing on talent quality, compliance and cost efficiency. The Senior HR Advisor will report to the Contingent Workforce Program Director and provide human resources functional expertise, support and consultation to global business partners and stakeholders.
The Senior HR Advisor will be the senior human resource professional within the Contingent Workforce program management office (PMO). The Contingent Workforce PMO has three primary functions: strategy and planning, operational management support, and compliance management. Global business units supported include: Alaska, Corporate, Lower 48, Australia, Norway/UK, Canada, and Indonesia. Responsibilities may include:
- Managing key internal stakeholder relationships on a global basis
- Maintaining, auditing and enhancing global processes to ensure program service quality
- Managing continuous improvement initiatives and projects
- Advising on global and regional (Europe and Asia) processes and issue escalations
- Ensuring regulatory and program compliance of the contingent workforce program
- Communicating effectively with internal business partners, stakeholders and external partners
- Managing global program training and program branding
- Supporting the appropriate HR organizations to implement contingent workforce long-range planning process
- Interacting and collaborating with the program implementation team as necessary to develop and improve the functionality and quality of the program
- Providing tier 3 support to call centers
Basic/Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Communications, Information Technology, Business, or other business related field
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting or contingent workforce management
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- 10+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting or contingent workforce management
- 3+ years of experience in working with VMS systems or MSP providers
- Staffing experience within the oil and gas industry
- Previous experience interacting and providing value to business units from a shared service / centers of excellence perspective
- SIA Certified - Contingent Workforce Professional Certification
Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures - Effective communicator, good presentation and interpersonal skills
