Reporting to the Global Product Director of Immunology Biosimilars, this position is responsible for leading activities associated with designing, developing and executing pre-launch and launch activities for a portfolio of Immunology Biosimilars into a young, evolving marketplace. It requires an entrepreneurial mindset and close team collaboration and coordination given the nature of the Biosimilar business. There is both a strong strategic and tactical component to this role.
Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Develop Go-To-Market Strategies for immunology biosimilar products, considering various market archytypes and an evolving marketplace
- Lead Immunology Biosimilar Portfolio Payor Strategy including segmentation, positioning, contracting & tendering, and value proposition refinement
- Design and execute Payor pre-launch and launch tactical plans, assets, and promotional materials facilitating alignment with early launch markets
- Provide strategic oversight for key Payor market research, engagement activities, and training materials
- Provide strategic oversight for the Access and Pricing Strategies and tactics in co-operation with the Access and Pricing colleagues
- Outcomes Research liason to help develop and ensure launch and post-launch Outcomes Research Plan and assets are aligned with the overall strategy
- Lead Immunology Biosimilar Medical Education Strategy and pre-launch and launch tactical plan and activities including: Medical education slides / content, Congresses and symposia/ exhibits, and speaker training
- Coordinate global forecasting updates, supporting the country roll-ups and input, along with developing and executing supply solutions
- Lead Launch Excellence planning for biosimilars portfolio as well as develop and track launch metrics in cooperation with Headquarteres colleagueas and the countries
- Support early launch Markets / Regions
Minimum Education Required:
- BS/BA
Required Experience and Skills:
- High aptitude for innovation and strategic thinking
- Proven ability to work in uncertain environments and solve complex and ambiguous challenges
- Previous market development experience (i.e. launching, building platforms, contracting, devices)
- Entrepreneurial mindset focused on achieving goals in rapid and cost-efficient manner
- Minimum of 8 years combined sales, marketing, or sales/marketing support function experience;
- At least 5 of those years in brand management/marketing planning within the biologics market place, including launching a brand or working directly in the channel
- Strong science and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills
- Promotes and sells ideas persuasively
- Highly developed communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills to achieve shared team goals
- Demonstrates high degree of integrity and ethics
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience in biosimilars commercialization and knowledge of immunology biologics
- Education: MBA or other postgraduate degree in business / science
