Develop complete method and tools for determining, implementing and measuring Critical to Quality characteristics for all processes. This includes CTQ’s of all in bound material, equipment, production process, distribution process, and new development processes to assure not only determining the critical areas to be controlled, but a monitoring and corrective action process to assure all CPk’s of the CTQ’s are at 1.33 or greater.

Implement a staffing and assist in hiring all required Quality Engineers at all levels of the organization.

Develop a strategy and implementation plan.

Establish the requirements and RACI for the distinction between Quality Engineering and Process Engineering.

Establish necessary new product gate launch criteria and measurements.
Leadership Skills:
-
Ability to develop methods and tools to build a Quality Engineering Function
-
Product development and manufacturing knowledge of high volume consumer products
-
Ability to lead direct and influence rapid change through technical knowledge
Knowledge and Experience:
-
Implemented and or managed a large Quality Engineering function in a fortune 500 consumer products company.

Well steeped in knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and programs
-
Training experience with Quality Engineers
-
Certified Black Belt or Master Black Belt
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering (Process, Chemical, Electrical or Industrial)

8 years minimum experience required

Certified CQE
-
Black Belt and or Master Black Belt preferred
-
Food Industry experience preferred
-
Process Development or Design experience preferred
