Purpose of Job
- Establish, maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customers.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Enhance the customer experience and grow account relationships through the strategic Account programs, initiatives, standards, tools, and training and support procedures.
- Represent and present all company products and services to customers and ensure solution development efforts best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Planning and delivering strategic account support programs for sales and operations teams.
- Lead and drive growth and profitability of strategic accounts across all markets.
Organization
- Reports to the President.
- Works closely with VP Commercial and VP Operations to develop account management plans, achieve objectives and revenue targets and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- This position may have direct report staff assigned to support.
Work Requirements
- Role requires extensive international travel.
Job Components and Responsibilities

Strategic account program leadership, development, implementation and management; lead the customer account planning cycle and ensure assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

Key note speeches and presentations at industry events.

Regularly meet with clients to understand and analyze their current and long term needs and advise them on the products and services that help them achieve their goals.

Identify changing business needs of customers and introduce required solutions; have a clear understanding of the budgeting, procuring and political elements within the Company’s largest customers.

Identify and implement enhancements to improve win rates and strategic sales potential, enhancing revenue margins, and mentoring, evaluating, and motivating the strategic account and sales staff.

Enlist and coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including commercial, operations and support services in the account planning cycle.

Maintain a deep understanding and technical knowledge of relevant products and services available from UHCI sources and elsewhere in order to provide and present the best solutions for clients and maximize revenues for UHCI.

Effective use of tools and information to drive customer service delivery and company performance; fully utilize and input to Client Relationship Management data, ensuring all client information is complete and kept up to date.

Raised Company profile amongst strategic accounts, vertical industry segments and geographies.

Recruit, inspire, develop, manage and motivate a growing team of sales professionals.

Quality control and assurance of all strategic account plan outputs and service solutions.

Regular forecasting and reporting of achievements.
- Senior Medical qualifications and experience.
- Of graduate calibre with a minimum of 5 years’ senior level experience and proven track record of the acquisition and development of large strategic accounts, within the oil and gas industry.
- Committed, self-starter who has the drive to succeed in a high-energy team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot issues independently.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft office applications and Salesforce CRM.
- Strong analytical mind with the ability, experience and commercial acumen to negotiate and close senior level client negotiations and large contracts.
- An innovative approach to managing key client accounts, focussing on added value whilst
maintaining margins. - Able to operate at the coal face whilst keeping a clear sense of the strategic vision.
- Able to travel internationally and extensively at short notice.
