As a potential government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF85P.


Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain Reporting solutions.
  • Manage Data collection, analysis, and reporting to support Contact Center Services leadership.
  • Ensure quality of Data Management projects and tasks.
  • Realize Operational and Data efficiencies through improved Analytics capabilities.
  • Develop end-to-end reporting based on business requirements.
  • Act as primary liaison between business users and IT Project teams for business case, business requirements documentation, and perform Quality Assurance testing.
  • Solve complex issues and implement solutions to enhance productivity and to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintains data preparation and validation routines to support more complex data mining.
  • Select, recommend, and apply appropriate Analytic and Statistical methodologies.
  • Investigate and respond to routine and/or ad hoc requests.
  • Present analysis/reporting and recommendation in a clear and concise manner to Contact Center Services leadership.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in Data Mining, Data Management, and/or Reporting Development.
  • Experience with Business Requirements Documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create macros, Dashboard development, Pivot tables; importing data to Excel and creating PowerPoint presentations with charts and graphs.
  • Experience with Relational Database platforms such as SQL Server (preferred), ORACLE, and/or DB2.
  • Ability to travel overnight within the U.S. less than 5% of the time.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 NAC form SF86.

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with Business Analytics tools such as SAS, SQL Analysis Services, or Business Objects WEBI.
  • Experience with Data Extraction/Loading tools such as SQL Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Navigator, or SAS preferred.
  • Experience with Reporting tools such as SQL Reporting Services (SRS), Crystal Reports, or COGNOS preferred.
  • As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group’s contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 http://www.opm.gov/forms/pdf_fill/sf86.pdf, (the National Agency Check or “NAC”).  Successful completion of the NAC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role.  NAC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense.  Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received.  Failure to obtain final NAC approval will result in termination from this role.
