Business Process Manager - Optum Shared Services - Franklin, TN

-Managing components of the Coding Quality Assurance Operation including auditors that are contracted and full-time employees remotely and onsite.
-Creating the reports and performing the analytics necessary to provide recommendations and action plans to exceed client and program requirements.
-Responsible for capacity planning, production planning and project execution to meet capacity and production requirements.
-Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools.
-Ensure auditors are meeting production standards set by the department.

The Business Process Manager may be assigned the overall program and production management for specific programs and initiatives.

 

Other responsibilities will include:

 

-Creation and oversight of the Standard Operation Procedures, Program SLAs and contractual requirements.
-Provide support for both short and long term operational/ business strategies.
-Work collaboratively with business and function owners on solutions and progress tracking.

 

OFFICE FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN FRANKLIN, TN

-Bachelor’s degree preferred.

-At least 4 years of experience in a role driving and supporting projects in a large organization.

-Experience running an operation required.

-Prior management or supervisor experience preferred.

-Experience with capacity planning, production management and analytical reporting required.

-At least 4 years experience in:

---Risk Adjustment OR

---Dx Coding OR

---Healthcare Management

-Ability to produce within a fast paced, matrixed organization with limited direction.

-Demonstrated ability leading and delivering high quality, and client communication.

-Proficiency with Word, Excel (intermediate to advanced), PowerPoint; Visio & SharePoint assets.

-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
