The Client Manager Manages daily operational relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts. Liaises between outward-facing and internal operational teams. Builds relationships with clients and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day-to-day service delivery. Works with Strategic Client Executive(SCE) to represent clients internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects and address ongoing service needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads maintenance and support growth activities to ensure superior consistent service amongst client base, and to support implementation of new services and programs to suit client needs
- Liaison with UHCI Operations to ensure processes are being followed and goals met
- Identify opportunities in processes and work with the team to develop and implement solutions across UHCI organization
- Act as a liaison between Client Advocates and Clients for member/ provider issues
- Review Operational queues and communicates inconsistencies of service
- Overall management of the client’s operational needs
- Develops innovative approaches
- Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
- Serves as a key resource on complex and/ or critical operational issues
- Performs complex conceptual analyses
- Supports SCE on forecasting and planning resource requirements
- May lead functional or segment teams on projects
- Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
- Support Client Development with demonstration of operational tools
- Works during implementation to create the SOP’s
- Thoroughly know client benefits and be the internal source for clarification with provider and member calls and claims
- Take lead on complex claim/ call issues that are tied to systemic operational issues
- Conduct recurring operational client calls with clients & secure and prep appropriate internal resources
- Train clients on eServices, portal tools and be the back up to SCE on clarification of OOCE/ MCE data
- Be familiar with the client’s internal operational changes, adjustments and share insight with Strategic Client Executive
- Identify operational trends and/ or inconsistencies impacting client funding
- Assist with client meetings, site visits, operational reviews
- Supports Strategic Client Executives during vacations or business travel
- Support Creation and sign off of SOPs & P&Ps for New Business and Procedures
- SME for Operations Team and Client Advocates
- Team SME and Project Manager STT (CSR) UHA+ applications
- Share feedback of client and internal departments with SCE
- Exhibits UHG Values in daily activities
- Motivates and inspires other team members
- Establish and own reoccurring Operational meetings with client
- Establish training with necessary resources for client tools
- Coordinate with eligibility analyst to identify possible improvements and resolve issues
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 2+ years health insurance experience
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Working hours from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% if needed
- Must be Fluent (speak/ read/ write) in Spanish and must be able to communicate health insurance terminology in Spanish
- UNET, CES, CSS experience
- Bachelor's degree
