Senior Compliance Officer- Third Party Oversight (Enterprise Governance)

This position will manage the development and maintenance of key Third Party Oversight Compliance Program requirements and the enterprise wide Third Party risk management framework. Partnering with colleagues from across the organization, and in particular those in Compliance and enterprise risk management functions, the successful candidate will evaluate short term and long term needs for the business and the Compliance team for enhanced oversight of Third Parties. The successful candidate will strategize and implement risk-based requirements for improved identification and mitigation of Compliance risks, including:
- Establish and manage regular reporting routines, including executive and board reporting
- Support enterprise-wide issue escalation processes
- Manage effective communication across enterprise
- Oversee effective implementation of requirements set forth in enterprise policy and Program requirements
- Develop enterprise Training Program and oversee implementation
- Support metrics development and trend analysis exercises
- Support Global Compliance governance needs, including cross sector and regional interaction
- Assess annual Compliance Risk Assessment results and develop informed enterprise wide view of Third Party compliance risks.
- Support enhancements and ongoing maintenance of third party oversight framework across the enterprise
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of the enterprise framework for third party oversight
- Analyze regulatory changes and pronouncements and provide guidance to partners on all new or changed requirements.
- Knowledgeable of all applicable US regulatory requirements and bulletins related to third party oversight
- Knowledge of key regulatory requirements and sensitivities related to third parties outside the US a plus
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to draw conclusions, support findings and escalate
- Strong writing and communication skills, including presentation design
- Must have the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization and across regions.
- Quick learner, adept at understanding and applying new concepts
- Self-starter and organized and have the ability to work independently, without supervision.
- Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple activities and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
- BA/BS or equivalent required with a graduate degree a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in financial services.
