Navman’s Vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management Solutions uses real-time information to proactively and effectively organize a company’s mobile workforce with the ability to analyze a fleets historical performance utilizing a robust reporting suite to make improvements in efficiency and productivity, and reduce a company’s operating costs. The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager, but will interact heavily with the Corporate and US Financial Controller in supporting the US fleet tracking entity.   The Accountant will help maintain the integrity of the balance sheet and P&L and ensure that accurate information is available when needed.  The selected candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and the flexibility to work in a growing company. This position requires the candidate to be a self starter and to be able to work independently.


Job Responsibilities:

• Help manage cash balances by forecasting weekly cash inflows and payments and scheduling payments as appropriate.
  
• Process daily and monthly journal entries and accruals
• Help on maintain a clean accounting, and perform adjustments when needed.
•  Maintain:
• Intercompany balance sheet accounts
• Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations
• Performance of monthly close activities
• Perform Basic reserve analysis
• Must understand multi-currency accounting.  Some liabilities are maintained in USD.
• Additional responsibilities will be given to allow growth commensurate with the candidate’s abilities.
  

Working Relationships:
This role works closely with other finance department team members and other corporate level employees.  Communication and interfacing with customers is also key in this role.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA professional license required.
• 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in English
• SAP System experience required.
• Must be highly proficient with excel and have a good working knowledge with day to day accounting activities.
• Organizational skills
