Sales Coordinator - Healthcare

The sales coordinator plays an important role in the order fulfilment process. Not in an order processing focused position only, but establishes a strong relationship with the channel partner or customer on a sales operational level to maximize accurate orders, achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and ultimately be a strong contributor to the achievement of the department and company sales volume goals.

He/she will – as the main customer contact for sales operations topics- be responsible for the order acquisition and fulfilment process, optionally also pre-sales support activities and related administration.

He/she represents the customer in the Barco internal organization and translates its requirements (on deliverables and timings) into tangible process parameter. The sales coordinator is responsible for:

• correct and timely order entry and will provide immediate feedback to the customer related to such order

• follow-up on shipment & delivery of goods

• export procedures (EUC, IIC) as required

• communicating, organizing and proper follow up of contractual required documents like COO, L/C’s, Bank guarantees,…

He/she will be the main liaison between our customers and different internal departments on following order fulfilment topics:

• Together with the credit control department, you follow-up on accounts receivable and if necessary you take the necessary actions to solve payment issues;

• inform after sales service department in case extra services are sold

• he/she is in close contact with following departments in order to solve customer requests: service, warehousing, traffic, planning, C&PO, project management, sales.

• correct and timely invoicing

• pre-sales support tasks prior to receiving a PO

o small quotations, according to the price list and discount list. The BFO opportunity creation remains sales mgr responsibility

o client master data set up and maintenance

o credit check with finance

o Availability check with supply chain

o SC supports the sales manager in DAR execution. Sales manager stays in the lead.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent through experience.

• 5 years of experience in sales or customer service environment is recommended.

• Able to work independently and have the necessary maturity, skills and commercial feeling to communicate with costumers and other (internal) stakeholders.

• Excellent organization skills.

• Excellent computer proficiency including the “Microsoft Office package” and ERP systems.

Fluent in English and French; knowledge of Spanish is an asset, knowledge of other languages is an important asset, depending on the regional requirements.

• Able to work in a team and sales driven environment.

• Supportive attitude to the sales team, to assist in the acquisition and maintenance of new and existing customers.
