Acxiom has written the book on utilizing on line and off line consumer data to drive innovative marketing solutions. Our ability to deliver vast quantities of data faster and more securely separates us from our competitors. As a security engineer, you are responsible for the support of security solutions that ensure the integrity of Acxiom systems and data. You will utilize next generation network security devices such as Palo Alto and provide consultation to both internal stakeholders and Acxiom customers.
What you will do:
- Work with stakeholders to review and implement security policy on firewall devices
- Design, implement and maintain security standards/policies/procedures to protect Acxiom systems and data worldwide.
- Implement designed solutions including device configurations while following a change management processes
- Stay abreast of industry best practices in systems security and adapt Acxiom polices/practices as needed
- Perform regular vulnerability testing of Acxiom systems and solutions and propose mitigation plans for any threats identified
- Act as Tier 2 support for the network operations center as part of a rotation
- Perform peer review of work plans for standard changes as requested
- Provide security consultation as needed for product development and industry marketing solutions
- Investigate security incidents and recommend actions needed to resolve situations
- Coordinate all tickets associated with the adding, moving or decommissioning of network elements
- Monitor systems for unauthorized internal and external access attempts and recommend remediation needed
What
you will need:
- Bachelors’ Degree or 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills specific to network security and ability to effectively work in cross functional teams as needed to resolve issues
- Exposure to Proxy configuration and management
- Experience configuring/administrating technologies including: Checkpoint and Palo Alto
- Advance knowledge of routing and switching protocols to include security policy setup, threat protection (IDS/IPS)
- Experience with IPSEC, VPN, and SSL

What
will set you apart:
- Familiarity with IT governance standards and compliance including ITIL, PCI, and SOC
- Industry Security Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, GSEC, CISSP, GCIA, GCFW, or other security certifications)
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of technologies including: Cisco Nexus (2k, 5k, 7k, 9k), F5 and/or A10 load balancers
