We are looking for a technically savvy, results-oriented, and quality-focused individual with strong, hands-on security and leadership skills to help define and drive Security strategy and architecture for Acxiom’s infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Security Architect you will be responsible for the security process and architecture to protect Acxiom’s digital systems including active monitoring, management and implementation of information security services within Acxiom’s Infrastructure and Technology Operations team. You will drive development and communication of related information security technologies, systems and standards throughout the organization in accordance with Acxiom’s requirements and best practices. This position requires strong technical skills, the ability to work well in a team, manage projects and the ability to multitask and work on assignments independently. As the Infrastructure Security Architect you will work as a key member of Acxiom’s Infrastructure team and be responsible for creating and managing guidance for Networking, Security Design and Project Implementation as well as help drive solutions to completion.
What you will do:
- Evaluate and promote new and existing security standards, solutions and tools
- Design, implement, document, and promote infrastructure security solutions
- Provide support in the areas of security architecture and vulnerability assessment
- Perform vulnerability/risk analyses of Acxiom’s Systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle
- Communicate areas of risk and vulnerabilities, propose mitigation plans to Management
- Apply security engineering principles related to building, maintaining, and monitoring secure infrastructure
- Collaborate with partners to translate security and business requirements into technical designs
- Perform Security Monitoring of critical enterprise resources
- Investigate and follow up on security violations and incidents
- Translate security requirements and information into effective presentations for non-technical users
- Develop and maintain documents and implement security policy and procedures
What you will need:
- 10 years professional experience working in Infrastructure Information Security areas
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related major is required
- Strong background in vulnerability management processes and tools
- Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across project teams and business partners

What will set you apart:
- Master’s degree
- GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) and/or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred
- Subject matter expertise in Network, Systems, Database and Datacenter Security
- Background in penetration testing desired
