Lead, Hosting/Cloud Capacity Management and Governance will work within the Infrastructure & Operations team to lead hosting delivery/operations and overall capacity management. This role will be the subject matter expert participating in incident triage involving 3rd party hosting providers, drive incidents to resolution, be the escalation point, verifying/challenging technical details or explanations provided by 3rd party hosting providers, manage infrastructure build outs, provide Cloud governance and ensure requirements can be delivered in a timeline manner. The role will lead the capacity and cost management including analysis of private and public cloud, inventory management, comparative analysis, allocations and development of thresholds.

What you will do:
  • Establish hosting/data center and cloud governance model, process and systems
  • Interface with internal and external management by evaluating and providing feedback on technical alternatives and appropriate actions to facilitate tracking, planning, and documenting systems in multiple data centers
  • Manage relationship and monitor performance of vendors contracted for the delivery of outsourced services
  • Interface with product owners and vendors to assess internal needs and vendor performance
  • Manage for the flow of inventory to include: Assets, Asset Tagging, Receiving, Depreciation, and Expense tracking and RMA's
  • Process routine inventory requests by validating receipts of goods and materials against requirements
  • Manage and monitor capacity of internal and external resources (physical, virtual, and cloud)
  • Establish operational cost models for the Infrastructure and Operations service catalog
  • Monitor the supplier service catalog to ensure the service catalog is fit for purpose and up-to-date
  • Ensure compliance with legal and administrative regulations governing the operation of 3rd party providers to include, but not limited to SOX compliance
  • Create and maintain of status reports, vendor SLAs
  • Identify and provide standard for gathering information for use in trend analysis and reports information to company management
  • Partners with business leaders and other IT teams to understand future business and application direction in order to strategically position the data center for growth
  • Examine and explore emerging technologies for possible position within the company's future business plans
What you will need:
  • Background in Amazon Web Services, hosting or data center, ISP peering, Cisco networking, NetApp storage, Linux or Windows
  • Background in cloud governance including utilization, financial processes, business management, monitoring, forecasting, and trending
  • Infrastructure and Operations experience in costs, inventory, capacity, and external cloud/hosting
