As Head of Recruitment for India GSC (JP Morgan Services India Pvt. Ltd), the incumbent will be responsible to develop and drive recruitment strategies aligned to organizational priorities. The responsibilities will include positioning GSCs as an ‘Employer of Choice’ across all markets where we operate in India; ensuring that the firm is in a position to attract, source and recruit the best talent, both internally and externally. The incumbent will be responsible to consult and collaborate with multiple stakeholders including hiring managers, compensation team and human resource business partners on manpower planning, staffing and compensation positioning to devise fit for purpose sourcing and recruitment strategies. The individual needs to be a subject matter expert on recruitment management including the process, tools, controls and governance, and high-level reporting. He/she will be required to build strategies to develop and leverage diverse talent pools while driving a reduced dependency on hiring partners. The incumbent in this position should have proven ability to lead large team of professionals and manage multiple stakeholders globally and locally.
Roles & Responsibilities
The incumbent will be supporting all lines of business at the India GSC including Corporate & Investment Banking, Consumer and Community Banking, Asset management and Corporate for recruitment across Technology, Operations and Finance based in Mumbai reporting to the India HR Head for JP Morgan Services India Pvt. Ltd. The individual will be expected to work in strong partnership with the global recruitment teams to ensure appropriate alignment, linkage and leverage around the recruitment strategy across various lines of business and geographic locations.
The key responsibilities include:
Talent Acquisition:
- Accountability for talent acquisition across all Lines of Business.
- Responsible for devising and deploying recruitment strategy & initiatives focusing on build out of diverse channels and slates, gathering market intelligence and developing candidate assessment tools
- Drive end-to-end recruiting process for talent across multiple lines of business/disciplines/geographies including sourcing, interviewing and guiding selection process across LoBs.
- Leverage diverse channels for recruitment including campus; and drive the relationship, hiring & branding strategies across these.
- Devise a robust strategy for hiring from Employee Referral, Job Portals & Direct channels.
- Accountable for all financials like vendor fees, referral rewards, license fees etc related costs for Recruitment
- Accountable for governance and control metrics for the recruitment team
- Accountable fro driving the focus on cost and vendor management
People Development and Stakeholder Management
· Build strong long lasting relationship with all the stakeholders and partner with them to define talent acquisition strategy aligned to their business needs and address all matters proactively
- Lead and guide a team of Talent Acquisition professional to put together integrated Recruitment Agenda for their respective clients.
- Coach the team members to provide well rounded strategic recruitment solutions to the business.
Qualifications and Experience
- 8- 10 years or more of relevant, effective Talent Acquisition experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management is preferable.
- Strong networking, influencing and negotiating skills - interacts and communicates equally well at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in client facing relationship management, depth of vertical line of business knowledge and history of results making opportunistic introductions based on strategic investment themes within a high volume environment with competing priorities
- Should have handled entire gamut of Recruitment activities preferably from IT / Financial services background.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast-paced, budget-challenged environment
- Ability to prioritize and drive multiple projects while remaining proactive and flexible in style
- Proficient in handling complex recruitment processes and mitigate risks
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with clients and HR colleagues
- Ability to handle large amounts of confidential/sensitive information on a frequent basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to lead large team of HR professionals.
