MARKETING INSURANCE CONSULTANT - UNDERWRITING

What you will do:
- Risk Product Training: to increase product knowledge, calculate standard pricing, conduct product presentations, create product proposals addressing client reported business issues and conducting value proposition driven demonstrations
- Insurance Underwriting Trends: to increase knowledge of key concepts, risk management, business challenges and solutions
- Insurance Industry Training: to increase understanding the industry served, industry trends, vertical industry nuances (if applicable)
- Competition Training: to increase understanding of the competition and enabling our products and services to viewed as superior
- Beginning to balance his/her development with meaningful and measurable contribution. While they are expected to make a definite contribution, the critical nature and complexity of the projects or tasks to which he/she is assigned are less than complex in nature
- INDEPENDENT CONTRIBUTOR: Fully functional and self-directed. Provides formal mentorship. High complexity assignments- owner. Moderate complexity assignments - owner (1 or >). Low complexity assignments - provide oversight/review. Regularly leads self and established as specialist. Sees the whole picture and adjusts work accordingly
- Product Knowledge and Understanding: Advanced, proven knowledge of sales support management
What you will need:
- 5 Years of experience in the Insurance Industry, Deep knowledge of underwriting process
- Work with multiple clients and across sales teams and put a compelling storyline together
- Leverage skills on multiple work streams as a lead, project manager, or subject matter expert
- Must have excellent communications skills ( excellent writing and presentation skills)
- Think strategically as well as tactically on how activities align with client business goals
- Effectively work with Acxiom colleagues
- Sales skills

What will set you apart:
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years and a Master's degree, PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience

- Sales support
