This position is responsible for assisting the Controller/Cost Managerwith the financial management of the Manufacturing Business Units including theaccurate interpretation, reporting and analysis of the financial results.  Duties include assisting with budgeting;actual reporting; and analysis support to the Plant Business Team.  This position must be able to communicate andinteract with all levels of management.
 
PrimaryResponsibilities/Accountabilities:
 
Participatein development of the Kraft Annual Contract.
Provideforecast of budget variances to management team.
Supportcommercialization of new product lines.
Workwith plant inventory associates and materials management to maintain accurateplant inventories and to analyze inventory variances.
Analyzebudget variances; providing a detailed report of budget variances and breakdownof site-wide/department KPI measures to the management team on a monthly basis.
 Support and help complete month-end closesettlement process in SAP.
Performvarious financial analysis/scenario studies.
Coordinateand maintain product costing for assigned Business Units in SAP
Developand maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers inorder to promote business growth.
Identifyand initiate process improvements both internal and external to department.
Workwith continuous improvement and black-belt engineers to quantify and implementproductivity/six-sigma projects.
Monitor GeneralLedger accounts.
Create journalentries.
Supportand help complete month-end close process.
Performvarious financial analysis/scenario studies.
Manageaccounts payable process including reviewing and coding.  Review exceptions for quick resolution ofissues.
Preparegovernment and corporate required reporting, as necessary.
Supportthe Federalsburg, MD Manufacturing Facility regarding the responsibilitiesdescribed above.
