Compensation Specialist
Prudential Financial, Inc.
The Compensation Specialist will work as part of the Market Intelligence team analyzing compensation data, providing recommendations for implementing new compensation programs or significant modifications to existing programs, participating in wage and salary surveys, and demonstrating knowledge of key compensation areas: market analyses, salary administration, and incentive plan design.
The role’s primary focus will be to support Prudential’s businesses by assisting the senior staff in determining compensation solutions.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Contribute to daily compensation consulting services: job evaluation/hierarchies, market pricing, and interpretation and application of compensation policy.
- Participate in the enterprise salary survey process.
- Participate in the Market Reference Range (MRR) review process: analyze market data to recommend movement, work with clients to validate market movement, and identify any special business needs.
- Generate periodic reporting, specifically year-end and provide analyses.
- Participate in MI/Corporate Compensation projects as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree

Two to four years of compensation experience including experience in market survey analysis and survey participation

Knowledge of Microsoft Access, other database packages, and office software required to complete analyses.

Ability to multi-task and manage projects as assigned

Strong analytical skills are required.
