Compliance Metrics Manager

Prudential seeks a highly skilled and motivated professional for the role of Compliance Manager within the Compliance Analytics team, part of Corporate Compliance.  This position focuses on the creation of compliance-related metrics on various risk-related topics and its ongoing reporting to management and requires interaction with compliance, business and systems areas throughout the organization.  The individual will report to a Vice President within Compliance Analytics.
 

 Principal Responsibilities

 
The successful candidate’s responsibilities may include:
 
·       developing and designing metrics for reporting needs, including business requirements
·       analyzing risk assessments and other documents to identify areas of metric focus
·       interacting with Systems to design reports, develop functionality, and test work product
·       developing and providing educational information and training materials related to generating reports and presenting data
·       partnering with Compliance associates to review data and identify potential issues and trends

·         Strong information gathering and business analysis skills

·         Familiarity with Company business systems and policies relating to areas such as gifts and entertainment and personal trading, among others, is a plus

·         Ability to effectively deal with multiple departments and personnel at all levels

·         Solid written and oral communication skills

·         Experience with statistical analysis

·         B.A./B.S. (preferred)

·         High comfort level with technology and data analysis

·         Strong Excel skills; experience with other analytical tools (Cognos, SPSS) is a plus

·         Understanding of the regulatory environment

·         Ability to conduct research related to industry topics

·         Strong project management skills
