RESPONSIBILITIES TASKS SUCCESS CRITERIA
Own the IL6S program at plant level • Facilitate SDDS deployment event and revise Zero Loss Journey on annual basis.
• Participate in annual Loss Analysis event.
• Lead LPT meetings. Discuss plant wide issues that constrain IL6S progress or adjust pillar focus.
• Acts as the daily consultant to the Site Leader, Pillar Owners and teams/individuals in their small group activities and ensure linkage of the effort with business results.
• Works closely with the Site Leader to ensure the Master Plan is updated and on track. Intervenes as required by involving the appropriate people to ensure continuous progress
• Leads site pillars review. Provide feedback to pillar owners and plant manager on pillar progress.
• Maintains Leadership board by following the PDCA thought process. • Loss elimination on glide path
• PDCA board updated & driving execution at defined pace
• Master Plan execution according to glide path.
Address current capability needs to deliver the site CBN Capability for the organization
• Have regular 1:1 meetings with Plant Manager to calibrate IL6S understanding and progress.
• Tour one department/one team/one line per week and participate in department reviews with plant manager to understand IL6S progress, execution status, help needed and reapplication opportunities.
• Provides publicity/promotion, general education and other communication that increase IL6S understanding and accelerate progress across the site/organization
• Works with pillar owners to train and develop LPT on specific pillar tools/systems.
• Conducts regular IL6S phase assessments and AM/PM step audits as needed
• Review R&R system to maintain its power of energizing the whole organization.
• Review LPT skill matrix and work out follow up action plans to close capability gaps.
• Review training plans with LPT.
• Coordinates quarterly reviews/discussions with business and pillars owners to ensure full alignment of the Program with the business needs.
Capability for the pillars
• Run Pillar owners assessment.
• Attend pillar meetings as needed.
• Have 1:1 meetings with some pillar leaders (AM/PM/FI/Q/WPI/IM) to adjust pillar master plans.
• Involve in critical systems development • All pillar staffed and qualifications on track
• Training plan driven by business need
• Reward & recognition system in place supporting culture
Address future capability needs to deliver the site CBN • Look ahead for what capabilities will be needed in the next 6 to 18 months.
• Perform IL6S benchmark visits.
• Coordinate and participate in lead models to define the standards for site implementation
• Get training from regional/corporate teams • Qualified at least in one step ahead of organization

Participate in regional/ corporate IL6S program implementation • Lead “Open House” events.
• Update regional leaders on IL6S progress.
• Works closely with regional leader to ensure the site is receiving effective guidance/coaching and leads on best-in-class systems/tools for reapplication
• Arrange IL6S Internal Consultant visits and collect follow ups.
• Participate in global/regional networks. • Regional Qualification on glide path
• Regional assessments on track
• 100% attendance to regional calls

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
·  LEADERSHIP SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to lead and cause positive cultural change within teams or organizations. Able to influence and motivate people with diverse skills and experiences to achieve excellent results. Self-motivated to resolve issues and follow-through to completion (especially complex technical or capability issues). Lead the operation to deliver benchmark manufacturing results.
·  COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION SKILLS: Able to collaborate confidently and effectively across several organizational boundaries (language, geographic, business unit). Ability to lead and participate on global and multi-functional teams. Ability to coach and inspire other Managers and technicians to deliver operational excellence.
·  KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Technical knowledge of manufacturing. Ability to identify and eliminate defects and losses across the Supply Chain. Able to effectively start up new lines, operations or new initiatives.
·  IL6S: Coach and develop site IL6S resources. Able to use IL6S methodology and principles to eliminate losses though total employee involvement. Ability to integrate module master plan with other leaders on the Plant Leadership Team. Able to lead and coach pillar implementation and integration. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Own the development and execution of Daily Management Systems.
·  TECHNICAL OR OPERATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Able to coach and develop staff and contractors in a way that integrates with the site's work system. Operational experience on engineering, processing, packing or shipping/logistics.
·  COACHING/CULTURAL CHANGE: This role requires the ability to deliver results through others. Demonstrated ability to develop capability in Managers, Technicians and Contractors. Able to identify and leverage the unique capabilities of others and build successful teams. Demonstrated ability to inspire others and lead cultural change in a mature organization.
