As Head of Communications for Aero, these are the types of messages that you'll manage. You'll play a leading role and drive all internal and external business communications, working closely with Group Communications. That means ensuring we communicate in a professional, unified way, helping the business to deliver on its strategy. The successful applicant will report to the President Aerospace, with a dotted line to Group Director of Corporate Affairs. He or she will have line management responsibility for the communication leaders in our Civil Large Engine, Corporate and Regional, and Defence businesses.

 

 

 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Ensuring our communications strategy is deployed consistently across the business
  • Working with Group Communications to ensure alignment and consistency of message.
  • Working with Aero communications leads to ensure all areas have the knowledge, tools and resources they need to communicate effectively
  • Standardising the communications framework and toolkit, while promoting best practice
  • Continuously seeking external research, best practice and new ideas, and using your expertise to support colleagues and teams across the business
