Reporting into the Manager, Communities Marketing, you will be instrumental in helping to achieve the objectives of Qantas epiQure, the food and wine community for Qantas Frequent Flyers, through the management of ongoing communications, campaigns, events and e-commerce optimisation and supporting the program’s objectives.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing plans to acquire new members, increasing revenue from existing members, and driving retention
- Developing and executing all Qantas epiQure email communication, identifying optimisation opportunities in conjunction with the product team and meeting campaign objectives
- Working with the data analytics team, sourcing relevant information about target audiences and customer segmentation to optimise campaigns
- Supporting the program’s e-commerce website through ongoing optimisation, UX, design, copy, build and testing
- Managing the day-to-day content of the website utilising a content management system, ensuring compliance with Qantas epiQure brand guidelines
- Working with internal stakeholders to develop and manage the content plan for Qantas epiQure
- Owning and managing email creative development for trigger campaigns and member lifecycle management
- Working with program and event sponsors to execute contracted support through our owned and earned channels
- Assisting in the creation and execution of above-the-line campaigns such as print, OOH, radio and signage
- Supporting event ticket sales, through campaigns, landing pages and promotions at Qantas epiQure events
- Briefing and managing external agencies on campaigns and BAU
- Planning monthly site themes around business needs and seasonality
- Working with the product team to manage the library of website images and sourcing content
- Using web analytics to analyse user behaviour and concerns on qantasepiQure.com.au, providing recommendations based on the results
- Maintaining a Guard Book of all Qantas epiQure communications
To be successful in this role you will display:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or related discipline
- Significant experience in direct marketing
- Outstanding client service and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
- Good understanding on latest web developments/online best practice
- Knowledge of content management systems, email management systems, ecommerce websites
- Working knowledge of HTML and Photoshop a plus
- Superior written communication skills, particularly for online channels
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an adaptable communication style
- Knowledge of or passion for food and wine is an advantage
