Quality & Compliance Technician

Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Coordinator, this position is responsible for the following duties:
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that the Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS) is maintained and improved in accordance with regulatory requirements, the ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 standards, corporate requirements, and the needs of the McClean Lake Operation
- Administer and control the approved Quality Management Documents
- Publish Quality Management Documents and maintain the document control system
- Maintain regulatory records
- Maintain the regulatory library
- Track internal actions
- Track regulatory commitments and obligations
- Manage the non-conformance investigation and follow-up process
- Participate in internal audits on the IQMS and ensure that it is subject to management review
- Assist in the preparation of the licensing and permitting applications
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
- Grade 12 with some post-secondary education.
- Functional user of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Experience in mining.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 is considered an asset.
Work Location & Schedule:
- McClean Lake site
- 7 days in / 7 days out work schedule
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region
