Job Description: Reporting to the Associate Director Planning, Forecasting & Results (PFR), the Lead Manager of Planning and Communications will support planning and driving ideas to projects for eServices efforts and coordinate communications of portfolio status, results, and implementation planning to CDE teams and leadership and other relevant groups within AT&T. This position plays a key, integral role in providing the details and focus needed to assure optimum planning and communications for eServices projects/enhancements, thus facilitating the ability to effectively meet the demands of the business.The responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the business efforts for providing accurate planning and communications development, and direct and manage, if applicable, appropriate staff support positions
- Participate in a data-driven approach to support eServices in planning and prioritization, implementation, and sustainment of eServices portfolio projects
- Work with appropriate groups within AT&T to determine planning development capacity, timelines, and risks for implementation schedules
- Implement and manage the defined approach for the eServices organization planning for new and enhanced capabilities
- Collaborate with Operations, Adoption, and Results teams to support planning tactics and procedures in support of online capabilities/products
- Oversee and prepare digital servicing communications to external teams and the Digital Leadership team
- Provide coordination of Ops review
- Work with Metrics and other relevant groups to define, coordinate, and report results and the business impact of ongoing customer transactions/interactions, especially related to new or enhanced capabilities to ensure solid planning
- Support product managers with defining specific product KPIs for ongoing assessment of product performance and use with identifying enhancement opportunities.
- Have extensive knowledge of a customer KPIs and assist with regular monitoring of KPI results
- Partner with other appropriate AT&T organizations to share results, drive alignment, gather input and drive a cohesive cross-channel experience
- Prepare organizational information for onboarding new employees and contractors
- Prepare and present departmental level briefings of capabilities, projects and key metrics
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- 2+ years of communications for a variety of internal teams and groups within a multi-faceted corporate environment
- 2+ years of experience using data/metrics in problem solving and analysis of issues and driving decisions and results. Experience defining key metrics and reporting needs.
- 2+ years working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment with multiple teams
- 1+ years working in defining business case benefit assumptions and developing inputs to business cases
- 1+ years of planning experience
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, growth environment
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prepare concise presentations and interface well with multiple disciplines
- Experience working across multiple business groups of a multi-level organization
- Self-starter, familiar with planning, forecasting, and reporting processes as it relates to the telecom industry
- Good decision-making skills and ability to generate ideas and solutions for opportunities and issues
- Fast learner, highly intuitive with technology end-user solutions and their real world applications
Desired:
- Bachelor or MBA preferred
- Experience working with projects through a software development lifecycle
- Project or program management experience
- Experience writing business requirements
- Previous industry experience in Telecom
