Monday – Friday  7.30 am – 4.30 pm
 
ADHB, Women's Health is one of the largest maternity and gynaecology services in New Zealand. There are 8,000 births per annum at Women’s Health. The hospital has a close association with the Auckland University Faculty of Health Sciences and has a leading role in research, undergraduate teaching and post graduate training. 
 
The aim of the Flow Coordinator role is to ensure co-ordination of the patient journey through our acute services by overseeing and managing organised and prioritised provision of patient-centred care, ensuring that the patient receives the right care, in a clinically appropriate environment in a timely manner.
 
The role requires excellent clinical knowledge and the ability to apply critical reasoning, problem solving and professional judgement to co-ordination of the activities of acute service delivery on a day to day basis, effectively managing the service’s acute workload. You will be providing expert senior nursing/midwifery assistance and guidance with proactive management of clinical systems which evidence has identified as being key to enabling staff to deliver an improved patient care experience.
  
In this role you will need to be a master in relationship building, change management, and liaising with a multi-disciplinary group.
 
You will be a Registered nurse or a Registered midwife with 5 years of clinical experience who enjoys working as part of a team and has good decision making and leadership skills. You will enjoy leading people and organising resources in order to achieve specific service goals. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills.
