Assistant Manager Of Data Services - Hotel And Field Support

This position is focused specifically on globally facilitating Data Service Representative learning and growth through content development, training, and project management.  The individual will report directly to the Manager of Data Services Hotel & Field Support and will be relied upon to perform as such when needed.

This position requires an individual who can manage multiple projects, both short and long term, using all resources efficiently.

 

The ideal candidate should be able to write documentation, and be able to facilitate that information in a formal small group setting, via webinars or on-line options, and through OJT.  Excellent communication skills are mandatory in order to work with many varied personalities.

 

Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions and Decision Making Authority

1.       Develop/Maintain Global Training & Development documentation for Data Services, including Data Services-centric enhancements, policies/procedures, RMT, New hotel builds, etc…                      

2.       Develop/Maintain Data Service New hire training plan and facilitate global new hire training

3.       Meet regularly with key stakeholders to understand both general and specific learning and development needs

4.       Participate in (and sometimes facilitate) project debriefs that will allow ongoing improvements

5.       Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values (included in all job descriptions)

 

 

Qualifications

·         2 or more years minimum prior experience in Training or service-related operations in general is desirable.

·         1 or more years’ experience with the Hyatt reservation systems is preferred.

 

Experience

·         Require 5+ years’ experience with general Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) applications - intermediate to advanced proficiency preferred

·         Require schedule and shift flexibility to accommodate hours and location of trainees.  (Some travel is required.)
