Job Title: IT Audit Consultant
The Information Technology (IT) Audit Consultant role presents a dynamic opportunity to assure the global information technology infrastructure strength of the company through enforcing its policies, procedures and controls. This role plays a large part in our Internal Audit team and will provide an excellent opportunity to learn the company's Information Technology Infrastructure globally while strengthening our the IT Internal Audit function. Work closely with the Group Head of IS Assurance. Part of a global structure partnering with the IT community and their related teams both internal and external in planning, executing and reporting on audits undertaken at the company's offices. Working alongside other Internal Audit staff and with the co-source third party arrangement.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Supporting the Group Head of IS Assurance, in planning and delivering IT internal audits
• Assess risk to determine the audit scope of each engagement
• Perform IT testing, working closely with co-sourced partners on work performed, testing results and remediation plans
• Identify IT internal control weaknesses and follow up on remediation plan implementation
• Make recommendations to improve internal controls and business processes
• Prepare the IT- audit programs to be used in current and future audits
• Reviewing IT policy and procedures compliance
• Coordinating the distribution and collection of IT section of the Internal
• Control Questionnaires
• Prepare tracking schedules and summary reports related to the IT audit observations
• Participating in special projects as required Skills, know-how and experience
Skills, know-how and experience
• Experience gained in delivering risk based IT internal audit and risk management engagements for global organisations.
• Evidence of continuous improvement with a track record in demonstrating Innovation through the use of latest technique of internal audit and risk management.
• Working knowledge of COBIT framework
• Strong project management and internal audit skills
• Excellent communication (Written and Verbal) skills and the ability to communicate across countries and cultures
• Attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Ability to work under own initiative, and enthusiasm to drive through change and multi task, a strong self-manager
• Understanding of general business practices
• High level of confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred:
Hyperion S-Base, SAP, Microsoft Windows, Unix and Mainframe experience is an advantage.
