Cargill Texturizing Solutions offers specific solutions to provide texture in multiple food and beverage applications as well as for cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets. CTS produces native and modified food starches, spray dried specialty starches/maltodextrins, soy proteins, hydrocolloids, lecithins and functional systems (ingredients mixes). The hydrocolloids product line consists of carrageenans, alginates, pectins, galactomannans and biopolymers. CTS has 17 manufacturing plants located in France, Germany, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain and the United States. CTS’ presence also includes affiliates, sales offices, technical laboratories and applications service centers that ensure proximity to its customers in North America, Latin America and Europe.

 

Position Purpose:

 

As a member of the Cargill Texturizing Solutions team, the Administrative Assistant will provide senior level support for the site manager and leadership team, as well as general administrative support to the entire plant. This position will be responsible for office & lab supplies, cell phone coordination, mail, data entry, records management, P.O. card expenses, sample inventory support US & EMEA, site & off site meeting coordination, travel arrangements, etc.

This position requires the ability to multi--task, manages multiple projects and job duties, and provides administrative support for all functions at the Atlanta location. An ideal candidate will be proactive and self-driven, building networks to keep up with current best practices and establishing administrative process improvements and work flow efficiencies. They must have strong collaboration skills and ability to effectively work with diverse group of people.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

 Relocation will not be provided for this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or higher in business related field and a minimum of 2+ years administrative experience OR High School diploma and minimum of 5+ years administrative experience supporting various levels, across various functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material.
  • Strong interpersonal skill and ability to work with a variety of individuals across multiple levels, both internal and external.
  • Prior experience developing administrative process improvements and work flow.
  • Experienced in managing processes, working with different functions, multiple priorities. 
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP.
  • Prior administrative experience in an industrial/manufacturing plant environment.
