NetSuite ERP Consultant (Position is based in Plano, Texas)
This role is a part of Dell’s Enterprise Application Services team and will require you to design, build, and validate the NetSuite application for a variety of US-based customers. This position is based out of our Plano, Texas office location. You will work directly with our new customers in order to understand and document business processes, to be able to train end users, and to be able to provide go-live support and in addition where applicable work with our remote location implementation teams to configure NetSuite as per customer specifications.
The successful candidate may also act as the first line of support to existing clients, will participate in support calls between client and NetSuite, train users and participate in sales as well as innovation and development.
Role Responsibilities
-Help in the development of specifications, configure the system, develop and install modifications
-Communicates regularly with the project manager on the status of the work in progress
-Respond to customer calls and provides immediate assistance for urgent requests
-Participate in sales activities by configuring the demonstration environments that serve during
presentations to potential clients
-Develop specific functionalities as required and modifies data according to the industry
-Contribute to the overall growth of the Enterprise Application Services division
-Represent and promote Dell Services as applicable in industry events
Requirements
-5+ years’ experience in NetSuite applications implementation, ideally with a consulting firm or
software provider
-Experience with scoping and implementing NetSuite solutions; inclusive of gathering business
requirements and identifying gaps; leveraging best practices to set up and configure a working
NetSuite solution; importing data; setting up users with appropriate access control/security
requirements; configuring NetSuite reports, financial statements, saved searches, & dashboards that
drive key metrics
-Experienced in supporting the functional and technical needs of the sales cycle in NetSuite
applications with preferred knowledge of financial packages and accounting principles
-Ability to drive the implementation of NetSuite to meet the customer’s agreed upon scope, time
and budget
-Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into a workable software
solution
-Analyze business procedures and determine the appropriate modifications to be applied to the
software
