Oracle Brand Manager

The Oracle Brand Manager is the product expert internally to promote Oracle, and a business manager externally to promote CDW. This position is also responsible for driving revenue, profitability and awareness for Oracle while engaging CDW partners across Partner and Product Management, Sales and Marketing.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Be the subject matter expert in a Oracle's product line and associated programs such as Bid Desk programs and Category Penetration.
• Analyze industry information to identify opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales.
• Develop go-to-market strategies that outline target customer segments, products, promotions, pricing, positioning and complete launch plans.
• Educate pre-sales and Product Specialists on new product introductions, transitions, competitive advantages, and opportunities to identify sales within their customer base.
• Understand and communicate partner organizational structure with key decision makers and foster executive relationships.
• Communicate partners’ financial conditions and market new products related to Oracle.
• Manage and maximize overall profitability; managing financial benefits and develop a strategy around re-investing funding.

 

Additional Responsibilities

• Engage with CDW Procurement to help forecast sales volumes.
• Assist the Product Specialists in creation and review of content for respective manufacturer ads.
• Obtain and facilitate necessary partner and industry certifications.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years CDW PPM experience
• 2 years experience in Marketing and/or Sales

 

Other Required Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated financial acumen.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing.
• Previous experience in the technology industry.
• Prior experience in Supply Chain, Pricing, Merchandising or Program Management.
