As a Marketing Manager, you will further Tetra Pak’s efforts in delivering innovation in food processing and packaging across the U.S. and Canada.

 

In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with executives at leading U.S. and Canadian food and beverage companies, with an opportunity to influence their product and packaging strategies. You will play a key role in developing and executing Tetra Pak North America strategy across all categories and will receive international experience that very few North American companies can match.

 

Working closely with the sales and contract manufacturing functions, you will be a core member of strategic customer teams. In collaboration with our customers, you will develop integrated and creative marketing programs that drive carton acceptance across a diverse group of mainstream consumers, all while helping shoppers understand how Tetra Pak Protects What’s Good. 

 

This position will be based in the greater Dallas, TX area and report directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Product Management.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·          As a key member of strategic account team, drive account planning and execution within customer teams based on expertise within assigned categories

·          Identify customer growth opportunities from the product category perspective through partnership with the sales team

·          Negotiate, execute and follow up on promotional investments with customers

·          Create customer deployment and implementation plans for Tetra Pak and customer products and services

·          Provide customer and market feedback to Tetra Pak marketing and portfolio team

·          Facilitate portfolio knowledge within the customer team

·          Drive innovation through global and local knowledge-sharing at customer level

·          Provide marketing business cases for value selling

·          Lead category analysis through primary and secondary data; synthesize insights along with value chain advantages to develop compelling value propositions

·          Collaborate with other marketing functions, such as business intelligence and consumer insights, communication, environment, retail development and external agencies

·          Own and maintain an element of the data systems and marketing support infrastructure

·          30% travel; both domestic and international

 

 

 

 

·          Value chain analysis expertise preferred

·          BA Degree in Marketing or relevant area, MBA preferred

·          5 years of proven experience in marketing, business development or sales in the food, beverage or packaging industries required

·          Experience in creating new markets, customers and product applications utilizing research, trends and competitive analysis

·          Experience with AC Nielsen or IRI data systems preferred

·          Excellent communication and influencing skills

·          Proven ability to work without authority in cross-functional teams, with customers and key stakeholders

·          Strong experience analyzing and defending data with strong experience in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
