As an HR Manager you will have the opportunity to drive excellence in the delivery of HR services in the country, working in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment. The tasks are varied, challenging and you will be required to deliver results in an independent way.
In this position you will be responsible for labour relations and government relations, local policies, local reward services, reporting and compliance; supporting all organizations in Argentina and Chile. You will work closely with business leaders and different HR stakeholders, especially the HR Service Center delivering core HR services to the geography.
This position reports to HR Vice President in Americas.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing local support for rewards services (advise clients during rewards processes, work with the HR Service Center to recommend pay increases for the country);
- Guaranteeing the quality and application ofthe benefits across the country;
- Driving labor relations strategy in the country and managing relations with unions to secure agreements, effective grievances handling and facilitating annual salary negotiations (in cooperation with the rewards drivers);
- Acting as a link between employees and managers in case of conflicts and recommending corrective actions;
- If needed, managing labor suits and government audits. Interacting with internal and external lawyers and representing the company in court;
- Managing government relations and reporting: monitoring changes in country regulations and ensuring compliance; be the main contact withl ocal country government authorities, such as social security, labour ministry and others;
- Implementing and governing applicable local country policies. Proposing and driving modification of employee handbooks;
- Supporting HR Business Partners in driving Employee Engagement actions for local country policies/facilities specific issues;
- Guaranteeing legal compliance of the recruitment process in the country in collaboration with the HR Service Center;
- Managing termination process, especially in cases of reorganisation;
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation related to Occupation, Health and Safety;
- Supervising Factory HR Representative in La Rioja.
The successful candidate is an HR professional with 3 to 5 years experience in similar roles, possesses strong knowledge inlocal labour law and experience in reward, and in managing relations with unions, government, and immigration authorities. You have a track record of proven performance and driving change; and have successfully built relationships with internal clients, colleagues, authorities and external partners.
As a person, you possess a high level of integrity and autonomy, superior communication and an ability to collaborate across functions, geographies and levels. You are able to effectively manage conflicts and crisis. Excellent English proficiency is a must.
