We are currently looking for a

Category Executive – Juice, Nectar & Soft Drink

 

The Category Executive will drive category focus and opportunity creation. He/she will be the “expert” on the category within our business and is responsible for the market share growth, volumes, profitability and marketing support activities and budget for the category.

 

Category Executive will be a part of Marketing & Product Management Function (M&PM). The M&PM function is responsible for defining the strategy for our core categories, setting market share targets, quantifying opportunities and recommending product portfolio requirements.

Your Key contacts internally will be: the M&PM team, Sales & Customer Management Team (incl. Key Account Director), Communications Manager, Cluster Europe and Central Asia Marketing colleagues and Global Marketing colleagues, externally you will be in contact with: Marketing Directors / Managers of customers and brand owners, Retail Customers, Research agencies, marketing consultants, Industry bodies & associations

Your Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and drive implementation of the category strategy

• Set category performance targets (market share)

• Propose product deployment and development priorities for the category in order for Tetra Pak to gain market share and/or increase profitability

• Identify and quantify growth opportunities and work together with the Sales & Customer Management (SCM) team to realise them

• Support SCM to integrate category plans into customers plans and actively participate in Key Account Teams

• Define and allocate marketing support resources needed to achieve the plans - drive and follow-up implementation of marketing investment and ensure compliance with marketing support guidelines

• Analyse and track the development of the Category - volume, value, share – and drive awareness of the category trends across the Tetra Pak business and key stakeholders

• Office based (Chester, UK) with up to 30% travel mainly within the UK

We believe you have:

• Marketing or Business qualification (Degree or equivalent)

• Experience of working in the Juice, Nectar & Soft Drink Category

• Three years of Marketing and Sales experience or Category Management in FMCG  or retail at a Blue Chip Company

• Full UK driving license

• Fluent in English

• Strong presentation & communication skills

• Value based selling, Negotiation skills

• Autonomous; creative & self-starter , Strategic thinker able to implement at operational level, Team player , Professional style and approach, Takes ownership and drives for results, Entrepreneurial and creative spirit
