Senior Legal Counsel
Tetra Pak
Tetra Pak now requires an experienced lawyer to join the team that supports its operations in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Central Asia [RUBECA],based in Moscow, Russian Federation. This position will report to the Cluster Leader Legal Affairs for Europe and Central Asia and will work in close collaboration with business stakeholders and a teamof world-class in-house lawyers both centrally and in the regions in whichTetra Pak operates.
The successfulcandidate should meet the following criteria:
- relevant experience having been trained in a leading law firm and, ideally, solid corporate and commercial experience gained from working in a multinational orinternational business of comparable size (8+ years in total)
- must have developed a strong expertise incompetition law and have good understanding of the regulatory environmentrelated to food safety and other aspect of the business relevant to the Tetra Pak Group operations
- possess strong business acumen and demonstrate experience of working as a strategic business partner
- possess and demonstrate excellent leadership andmanagement skills in a global and remote team context
- proven ability to function well under pressure in ademanding business environment with a strong track record of driving andmanaging change
- be a committed team player with ability to buildrelationships in a multicultural environment
- be a highly driven, energetic, confident,well-organized and resourceful self-starter with a business-minded, practicaland results-focused mindset
- be approachable and persuasive with exceptionalcommunication, negotiation and influencing skills
- demonstrate analytical skills and judgment with theability to think critically and creatively and to make clear and well-reasoneddecisions
- have the highest level of integrity and be able to demonstrateability to enforce standards while handling difficult matters in a timely andconstructive manner
- Russian mother tongue, (s)he must be fluent inEnglish and ideally another language spoken in [RUBECA] (verbal andwritten/drafting skills).
Must hold a LLM degree from a reputable UK or US university and professional qualifications to practice as a lawyer in the Russian Federation and ideally, another
European civil law or common law jurisdiction
